Electronic Health Records Product LytecMD is Here!!
It is safe to say that probably 95% of you have been contacted by at lease one company regarding purchasing an Electronic Health Record system. Here’s the good news!!
YOU DON’T HAVE TO SPEND $50,000—$100,000
We would love to introduce you to McKesson’s new LytecMD product that combines Practice
Management as you know it and a cutting edge Electronic Health Record that contains Bright Note Technology—an exciting “one touch sets everything in motion” unique feature that allows the Doctor to continue charting in his/her current method—typing, dictation (transcription), handwriting or voice recognition. Call me for more details. We can set up a demonstration—either on-site or by the Internet.
McKesson is offering financing with many payment options available to you based on credit
approval. You can include your hardware upgrade in the financing and have a customized repayment plan that could correspond with your receipt of the stimulus incentive payments. Certainly something worth looking into. Let’s talk!!
Economic Stimulus Package Healthcare IT Incentives
Beginning in 2011, under the Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement portions of the Economic Stimulus package, physicians who meet certain criteria for meaningful use of a certified electronic health record could qualify for significant reimbursement, up to a maximum of $44,000 for Medicare and $64,000 for Medicaid. The criteria provisions are expected to be finalized in the spring of 2010 so we are encouraging you to begin planning now to make sure that you are ready to take full advantage of the maximum reimbursement. It is expected that in order to show meaningful use your office will need to be using your EHR solution before 2011. DON”T BE LEFT BEHIND!!
According to market research the two main barriers to Electronic Health Record implementation are (1) cost and (2) disruption of office workflow.
We believe that McKesson’s new LytecMD product will alleviate both of those concerns. While disruption is part of any change LytecMD’s new product with Bright Note Technology allows providers to use their preferred charting style. Physicians and other providers can capture data in a single screen note. Then, with ONE touch, searchable patient data synchronizes across the complete chart. So with LytecMD you would not need to change your current scheduling, billing, practice management software or your preferred charting style.
Call me and let’s talk about how we can help you make this transition.
Patient Statement Options
Lytec 2009 includes some new statement options that we have waited a long time to see.
· You now have the option to Indent payments and adjustment lines which gives a nice visual for the patient to make the connection between the charge line and payments/adjustments for that line.
· Charges only statement—don’t let the name fool you! This statement lists all details of a charge on one line—with columns for Charge, Paid by Insurance, Paid by Patient, Adjustments, Balance. It is very condensed with lots of information. No confusion for patients with different dates showing for each line. This statement has been well received by patients.
Sound good! Call for more information!
Is Your Software Supported?
Just a reminder that Lytec supports the last 2 versions of Lytec, 2008 and 2009. We will continue to attempt to support other versions but may run into situations where we need support from the developer and will therefore be unable to assist. Call me if you have any questions or to discuss your upgrade options.
